 The aim of our After School Club is to provide children (aged 5-8) at the end of a busy school day with a safe environment in which they can unwind and try out new activities.  The children will be provided with a healthy varied tea time selection at 16:15.  See our sample menu for further details.

We have a trained member of the team who will assist your child with any homework they may have been set.

 

The children will be provided with opportunities to

 

  • Use our Homework Room
  • Paint indoors and out
  • Enjoy the Computer/music room
  • An opportunity to talk to their friends and Next Steps team to share their day's experiences
  • To take part in any ball game activities
  • Access to a safe and secure woodland garden on site.

Next Steps has arranged for the West Pennard primary school bus to drop off children at a safe and secure bus stop just outside the centre.

Outside activities within the Showground are sometimes wet or muddy, please provide us with clearly labelled old clothes to avoid any damage to their school uniforms, which should also be clearly labelled. Next Steps After School Club cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of clothing or belongings.
