  • Develop their language and mathematical thinking, use their imagination and develop social relationships;
  • Create new opportunities to be active, indoors and out, as well as time to relax;
  • Listen and value what the children say, to talk with them about what they are doing, and give them opportunities to achieve individual small tasks and be praised for their achievements;
  • Nuture Parent Partnerships, sharing details of the children's activities and enabling parents to join in and explore the topics at home.

The Toddler room offers a stimulating and structured environment with areas for children's play, such as sand, water and foam, construction materials plus a story and home corner.

The team in the Nursery understand and use the "Early Years Foundation Stages" to observe, record and plan your toddlers extended learning through play, with a strong focus on developing language and communication skills.

Each child has a key carer which forms part of a larger key family, reinforcing social skills, hygiene & good manners.
